Kailash – Destiny of Ecstasy
Every year many pilgrims circumvent visit Kailash with a religious belief of circumventing Mt. Kailash on foot is holy ritual and brings blissful fortune. According to them they proceeded to Kailash as they felt their conscience attracted to ‘Om’ hymn mesmerize the surrounding of this divine grandeur. It seems thousands of sages, mortals, philosophers and even God had submerged in the blissful trance. There are many peaks like Meru, Sumeru, Sushumna, Hemadri, Ratnasanu, Amaradri, Deva Parvatha, Gana Parvatha, Rajatadri etc. Kailash is the dwelling of Lord Shiva and his divine consort Parvathi. It is believed that the silvery summit is the throne of truth, wisdom and bliss. Mind, a knot tying consciousness and matter together set free here. The great Mansarovar is reflection of human consciousness.
This holy mountain is situated in remote place of Tibetan Himalayas. As Chinese army entered into Tibet in 1950 and created political and border disturbance, pilgrims stopped going there from 1959 to 1980. After that very limited Indian pilgrims were given permission to go there and obviously under supervision of Chinese army and Indian government. But nowadays many people are going there. It’s a very expensive tour. And many travel agencies provide lucrative travel package for Kailash.
In these two paragraphs I could hardly describe the ecstatic beauty and spiritual ambience of Kailash. There are lots to visit and there are lots of divine facts behind this holy place. I would like to cover that next time.
